Congresswoman Laura Richardson (D-CA) on The Movement Act 2009
Congresswoman Laura Richardson (D-CA) outlines her reasons for introducing The Movement Act of 2009, a bill she says will create a dedicated source of revenue for surface transportation infrastructure improvements at or near the nation's ports. The Southern California Democrat says immediate action must be taken to improve the flow of goods to and through the nation's canal and seaports. Richardson also addresses other transportation issues and makes a candid appeal to the American public to support increased investment in transportation.
