Who We Are

Tony Dorsey is AASHTO’s Manager of Media Relations, working with reporters on a daily basis. Tony also Manages Transportation Television AASHTO’s web based TV station, where viewers find several channels of original video content produced in-house by AASHTO. Tony is an Emmy-award winning former television reporter with NBC News 4 in Washington, DC. Tony also served as Director of Public Affairs for both the Washington Metropolitan Transit Authority and the District of Columbia Fire and EMS Department. Tony has been on both sides of the camera during many major news events, including covering the September 11th attack at the Pentagon. Wanakhavi Wakhisi has a Bachelor of Arts degree, Magna Cum Laude, Film Production/Electronic Studio Art, from Howard University. For the past 10 years Wana has been working as a videographer/editor at various production companies in DC. His background and passions include documentary filmmaking and still photography. He's also worked on several projects for clients like PBS, Smithsonian Networks, and the Discovery Channel.
